Sunday Scoop September 13th

Happy Sunday everyone. There is a beautiful crisp feeling in the air in Illinois and I just loving it. Fall is just the best... I love summer, but I am definitely ready for the season of cozy! Here's what's on the scoop for today. I also have posted two new products and this week's bible verse freebie below. Enjoy!

I
have been working on these little beauties every since I found crayon milk chocolates. Doesn't this just make a great back to school gift? I also plan on leaving them on teacher's desks throughout the year for a little sweet encouragement.  Click here to view these in my store.

The second product that I am really excited about is my class estimation jar pack. This pack is a great way to use math skills throughout the year with real data. At the beginning of the year I would fill the class estimation jar and students would fill out jar slips with their best estimation of the number of objects inside the jar. On Fridays, we would count the items, make a class poster, and use our guesses as data to find the minimum, maximum, median, mode, and mean of the guesses. The student who was the closest would be able to take the jar home and fill it with something new for the following week. My second graders loved this and I am excited to share it with all of you!

I am off to do some colorful planning for the week and hopefully enjoy some time outside before curling up with a bowl of chili this evening. Have a great week.

  2. Colossians 3:23 is such a good reminder for teachers! Thanks for sharing, sometimes I need to remind myself of those things!
